Splatter Nail Art

So I'm pretty sure you all have heard of the splatter nail art. As much as I'd like to try it, it seems like too much work. So i kind of cheated and created my own splatter nail art but with stamping. I picked a bunch of different coloured polishes and stamped it over Sally Hansen White On. Believe it or not but i had tried 4 white polishes i owned which had all hardened and they were so hard to apply. I ended up giving up and went shopping for white polish. So after i found a white polish. I attempted this design. Yep i went and bought polish just for this nail art.
The splatter design is from the image plate B38 from Cheeky. The nail art looks like a bunch of different colours of paint are splattered all over my nails. I'm so impressed with this design as it turned out so well and its not as messy as actually splattering nail polish all over your nails.
I think my most favourite nails are my ring finger and my middle finger. The colour combo for those look really nice. The best thing is you can use any colours you want or even have certain colours to match a theme or even your outfit.
You have alot of control with this nail art. You can select different colours, which position to place them, whether to overlap the paint splatters or not. You can even use red to make it look like blood, kind of a death scene nail art which has also been very popular. To make it look realistic i overlapped some of the splatters. You can make the splatters into anything. In my case, they are paint splattered onto my nails.
So what do you think.... Let me know in the comments below

Barbed Wire Nail Art

So if you guys have been checking out my blog, you will know that i haven't been doing much nail art. So keeping that in mind i decided to do some nail art. I haven't used my stamping image plates in a while so i thought LETS STAMP!!!!!!

Products i used:
-BYS nail polish in Kung Fu Blue
- Konad special polish in Black
-Bundle Monster image plate BM323

That's how simple this design is. It only requires 3 things and you're good to go. Of course you need a stamper and scraper but that's pretty logical so i didn't add that to the list. This nail art looks so much better in person, i swear. The design is Barbed Wire which i thought was cute.
It's quite simple but I've received so many compliments. In fact today when i walked into Priceline, yep to buy more nail polish. The lady who worked there said she loved my nails so much, she actually even guessed that i went into Priceline to buy polish. As soon as i walked in she was like " you're here to buy polish, right?" Bahaha, i nodded and she was like " I saw your nails and i guessed"
I'm very pleased with how this turned out and sometimes even simple designs look really nice. Oh and I've been eyeing the new bundle monster holiday set and the CYO set, every year i get them when they are released but i just found out about them this month. Why am i so slow with trends and new stuff this year. So maybe you will see future posts with those image plates.

Anyways hope you enjoy this post.... Tell me what you thought. Do you like the barbed wire nail art?

I won a giveaway

As you know from the title i won a giveaway!!! This giveaway was held by The DIY Lady for Cheeky goodies. If you haven't already checked her blog, do so as it is a great blog. I was really excited to win because I'm not really lucky and have never won anything. Plus Cheeky isn't available in Australia, well they won't available but when I checked today they said the would ship to Australia, weird ha. Anyways let's get on with what I won.
This is everything i won. So there was a fair bit of things. Just looking you can get a rough idea of what I received.

Here are the image plates from cheeky. Some of them were doubles, about three but ill probably give them to my friend. My friend always sees my nails and asks me to do her nails like that so a few days ago i purchased a Konad set and gave it to her for her birthday.

Here you can see a huge image plate. Each image has four images, two big and two small which a mirrored.

These are toe nail polish foils/stickers. I received three and they were all the same design which you can see

A stamper with two image plates. These were in this plastic already but two of the exactly same ones were in the one above but in a circle shape
Here
Three different rhinestone wheels. I never use rhinestones cause i think they are too big but these are the perfect size so I'm going to give them a try
These are nail foils. They are each different designs so can't wait to try them. I hope you enjoyed this post. Before i end this post i wanted to mention that ill be going for a trip so i won't be posting. I am sorry but that's how things are Cya

Designer Nails

Hey guys. Today I have designer nails for you. All your favourite brands are on my nails except Prada.... Oh and Armani. I few posts ago I said that I ordered a few things off eBay, well they are arriving. Today this arrived so I had to use it and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. When all my stuff arrives I will post pictures of everything I bought so that if you like, you can also buy.

Things I used:
Essence- Where is the Party?
Image plate KD12
Konad special polish- white
BYS- Top coat
Jordana- Quick Shine Top Coat
I stamped a different logo or brand on each nail using my new image plate. For some weird reason my index finger tip looks like it has no polish but it's actually the lighting and my nail tip does have polish. The Chanel logo came out bad but that was my fault and not the image plate. Very happy how this turned out
Gucci was the only big stamp and that could only fit on my thumb but I'm totally cool with that. I really with the image plate had Prada and Armani bu sadly they don't. There is two versions of this image plate. An old one and a new one. The old one doesn't have Dolce & Gabbana and has another brand, some other picture is also different. The old ones are hardly available so your most likely to find the new image plate which is what I have

What do you think?
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate.

Black French Manicure

It has been ages since I've done a full manicure on every nail. So I decided to do another one but with a black tip. I always usually do the plain French manicure with the classic white tip. I went through my new Bundle Monster(third set) which I have been using a lot lately and noticed I never ever use the French tips. So I thought why not.

Things I used:
Bundle Monster Third Set- BM324 plate
Rimmel London 60 sec- Black Out
Jordana French Manicure- Barely Pink
konad Special Polish- White
BYS- Top Coat
Lacura Beauty- Top Coat
I really liked this looked. It was a slight change from the classic French manicure but still looked great. I'm amazed I didn't stuff up the White polish stamping. It's not perfect but still works
The black tips where done with the polish brush, just drag it across the tip of your nail. I didn't use any adhesive nail form stickers to do the tip as I was stamping and most of the tip stamping hides any imperfections. I got so many compliments about this and a lot of people thought I had fake nails.
I stamped using Bundle Monster image plate BM-324 to do the stamping. If you don't like black tips you can do white tips with black stamping. I did try both on 1 finger each and ended up liking the black one as it was a little different and the design was great?
What do you think? Does it look good or should we just stick to white tips?
Here is all the supplies used from left to right:
BYS topcoat- works great with konad
Lacura Beauty topcoat- BYS topcoat was to thin, so I used a thicker topcoat
Rimmel London Black Out- black tips
Konad White special polish- used for stamping
Jordana Barely Pink- French manicure pink, it's like makeup for nails

Hope you liked this post

Owl in the Night Sky nail art

I took out my new bundle monster set and wanted to stamp with it. I will warn you in advance the photos are blurry. When I had taken them, they looked fine but apparently they are not. I still wanted to post since I really liked this nail art. For the base colour I used Calypso Blue by China glaze to represent the night sky. Then I stamped with konad white special polish using Bundle Monster's newest set(third set).

Things I used:
China glaze- Calypso blue
Konad special polish- White
Bundle Monster third set- Plate BM-309
BYS- Top Coat
Jordana- Nails Be Long Base Coat

I Love Candy nail art

Since my bundle monster arrived yesterday. I sat down testing each image plate. After testing I decided to do stamping. This colour combo looked so nice. I actually really like it, and do not want to remove them from my nails like I usually do. I usually change my polish everyday or two. That means my manicures only last one or two days. Keep in mind that these pictures were taken before top coat.

Things I used:
Bundle Monster plate BM-306 (candy design)
China glaze- FYI
Konad black special polish
BYS top coat
Jordana base coat

Bundle Monster image plates 2012 (set 3)

Last Thursday I ordered the third set of bundle monster image plates. The designs were very amazing and I have to say they have definitely out done themselves from last year. I still love my last year image plates but this year is just amazing. I received my plates today on Friday which means it only took 8 days. Wow that's really fast shipping!!!. I tried every single plate to see if they work and sadly 3 don't. I did contact them and hopefully they will reply soon.

If you have purchased yours I do recommend to test each plate and make sure they work. A lot of people have contacted them claiming a plate isn't working and they seemed to have replaced it. That sounds like great customer service. Anyways I hope to post a picture using them soon

Lace Nail Art Stamping

Hey everyone. Today I finally have a lace design on my nails. I've seen so many nail stickers with the lace design that I have wanted to create that design myself using image plates. Finally I've done it. I have never gotten the time to do the lace design but I thought why not, it's now or never.

For the base colour I used Jordana in the colour Chiffon which is the perfect polish for this. It applied super easy and dried super fast. Everything was perfect for this polish. Then I stamped the designs using Konad black special polish.

Image plates used:
Konad M57 - flower, lace print(fish net stockings)
Bundle Monster BM208 - flower(middle finger)
Red Angel RA106 - flower(index finger)
Red Angel RA118 - flower(used on ring finger), I also used another flower but that was on my other hand

Wallpaper on my nails

I really don't know what to call this but everyone who looked at it claimed that it looked like wallpaper so wallpaper on my nails I'm calling it.

The base light baby blue colour is from Eclipse in the colour 613. As I only have Konad special polish in black and white, I decided to stamp in colour. I tried yellow but it hardly showed up so I went with purple. The polish I used for stamping was Orcala in the colour 20. When you use normal polish you have the risk of it not showing up perfectly and in my case that was what happened. It didn't stamp perfectly but it did stamp well. I wasn't going to a party or anything, just for a normal day so I decided not to fix it up and just leave it the way it is. I still love the colour combo and how it turned up.

I used the Red Angel image plate 109 to stamp.

minty shoes- Nail Art

guys i got around to doing my nails the other day. i didnt get time to post however so here goes. this is just some stamping with Bundle Monster plate 213(the new but not so new image plate set). i picked the high heels because they looked really pretty.

i used China Glaze's Groovy Green. three coats is seen in this picture. then i used konad black special polish and stamped the design. i was so happy with it however being unpatient i ended up stuffing the design up once i applied topcoat. but since this is an honest view on nail art i also have that picture located below.
here is the picture of the smudged shoes on my nails but being the perfectionalist that i am when it comes to nails that everything has to be perfect otherwise i will do it again. well guess what i did it again.

anyways i hope you enjoyed it. i know Groovy Green didnt come out so green. it looks alittle white but its a light minty-milky green
