Sally Hansen- Mint Sorbet

So today i have another swatch. I've been eyeing this particular nail polish for ages. So i went out last week and bought it. This is Mint Sorbet by Sally Hansen.

I will admit that I've been loving the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polishes because they have great formula. This was also the case for Mint Sorbet. It was easy to use, applying was a breeze, great dry time and the consistency of the polish was awesome.

This whole manicure took about 7 minutes. If you've been following me for a little while, you'll know that i love my green nail polishes and the colour of this is amazing. It's already become a favourite of mine.

I also like the fact that the nail polish doesnt look streaky or messy on my nails, which can be a real eye sore. If you haven't tried this yet, give it a go.

Max Factor - Fantasy Fire

Hey guys, i know i haven't posted much later. I've been absent for a long time, and it is because I'm in Uni now which is taking up alot of my time. I will however try to post more often. Ok enough about that, you're all here to see swatches.

Today i have a swatch of Max Factor Fantasy Fire, which is a gorgeous polish. The polish seems to be a dark blue/purple base with red shine going through it. I'm bad at describing polishes so you'll just have to look at the pictures. The first few photos i forgot clean up, so please ignore that. I will say that the polish itself is sheer, and will require alot of coats before becoming opaque. Which is why I used China Glaze Calypso Blue underneath as the base. These two really go well together. So if you want this look, you both polishes but any dark blue polish will work nicely.

Just take a look at that bottle. It's so pretty, i was in awe when i first saw it in store.

I only needed to use one coat of Max Factor Fantasy fire because i used China Glaze Calypso Blue underneath and i used 2 coats of that however you only really need 1 coat.

If you are to use Fantasy Fire all on its own, which i don't really recommend you'll need several coats. With 5 coats it was still sheer. It is a small bottle so it will be used up before you know it. Using a base colour will help make the polish last longer. You can see with the combo i used that the polish on my nails doesn't look different then the bottle.

Here is what the polish looks like in a dark place. The red doesn't shine as much but is still noticeable and still very pretty.

This is called Nail Drama Jelly Moonlight. Jelly Moonlight is a blue jelly base polish with multi size glitters and Purple Hearts. I was really pleased with this and really wanted people to try it. 

Here is a picture of what each winner will receive

Nail Drama Galaxy 101 is a shimmery purple base polish with copper/pinkish small and hex glitters.    I know it looks like the glitter is all at the bottom but that's just the glitter stuck to the bottle. It actually has even distributed glitter. All three polishes have stainless steel balls in the bottle to allow easy mixing and even distribution. 

Nail Drama Be My Princess is a perfect ballerina pink with two size silver glitters. The two sizes are fine silver glitter and slightly bigger silver glitter. The bigger glitters are the ones that are noticeable in the picture

September nail polish haul

Hey guys, how are you? I have to apologise for not posting in over two weeks. My days have been so busy and packed that 1 minute of sitting down was not possible. Today I had a little time available and so I knew I had to post. Now september finished a few days ago but I wanted to show you my september haul. Before I get started, I just wanted to inform you all that I'm having another giveaway as a thank you to my 300 subscribers. I'll post the giveaway some day this week so stay tuned.

Finally lets get started. This is all the polish i purchased in september. I tried not spending to much but hey what can you do. You will notice that polish innisfree 82 has fancy sticky tape around it. That is because when I received it in the mail it was broken. I mailed the seller and they are going to send me another polish since they don't have that in stock. It's a little disappointing since I wanted that one but I can always empty it into another bottle.

Haul: nail dryer + nail polishes

So I had been researching some nail dryers here in Australia. I couldn't find a suitable one for me. Upon researching I came to Homedics luxury hand spa centre. Most website were selling it for $49.95. So I went to Homedics.com which was also selling it for $49.95 but they had a sale for $29.95. I was planning on buying it however ten minutes later I came across it on the dicksmith website for $14.95. I went in store to find it for $34.95. I was confused but I didn't give up so I went to another dicksmith store which had it for $14.95, haha finally got it

Other than that I bought four nail polishes. Two are from Orcala which I have never heard about. One is from Colorway which I also haven't heard of but the last is from Ulta 3 which I had heard of.

In order from left to right we have:

Swatch- China Glaze's Kaleidoscope Him Out

so i decided to do my nails with Kalleidoscope Him Out from China Glaze. it worked so well. i only used two layers and it dried so quick. All my friends were complimenting me and my nails on how good the colour looked on it. In fact a friend asked me to buy it for her so next time i will be sure to buy another of this great polish for my friend.

It looks so pretty. sadly i couldn't get a picture of the shine in the sun. You see such a beautiful rainbow across your nails when your outside in the sun. I definitely recommend this to nail polish lovers, its a must. After trying this i have to say its one of my favourites.

You can see the shine in this picture above. its not the best rainbow shine but its noticable on the pointing and middle finger.

Small nail polish + lip gloss haul

Hey guys. I ended up going to the shops just for some fun. I bought some things I didn't actually plan to buy.

Two nail polishes:
Rimmel London- green grass 260
Bourjois- 13 (didn't have a name)

Two lip glosses:
Dr pepper- I'm a pepper lip balm
Bourjois- rose exclusif

The nail polish from Bourjois was a new one. The anti chip still with a curved brush to touch up your nail polish. It was a must try. I will do a review if the brush is any good for touch ups and just overall

I was also excited to see the lip gloss from Bourjois. Transparent lip gloss that turns a certain shade of pink according to your ph of your lips. Hmm
I ended up trying it and loving it. It was really smooth and lasted hours

Pro Nail Supply Trip Tomorrow

Hey guys, just wanted to inform you guys I'm going to head out to pro nail supply in bankstown and buy myself some nail polish. I'm hoping mostly china glaze but I might pick up a Essie nail polish or so.

Stick around tomorrow to see my haul. If possible and if they have any nail polish stands/displays, I'm also planning to buy those. My nail polish collection is growing. Yes I think I may have become a nail polish addict. I've always loved nail polish and 90% of the time my nails have nail polish on them. But nowadays I want great brands like Essie and china glaze, oh and also Opi.

I Have been taking care of my nails for 6 years. I've been using several products to make sure they are healthy and strong. You can't bend my nails, well you can if you try so damn hard but when I push really hard with my hand against my nail no movement. I've had so many people ask how I've done that and maybe soon if people want to see I may put up another post or page informing you how to do that.

I think I went off topic for a second. Anyways my wall is so hard. I tried drilling a hole in it with my driller(is that what they call it) and it broke the drill. I was thinking if I did buy a display how would I display it on my wall. I don't want a bench one, just a wall one. Any suggestions.

Anyways since I did do a long post, I don't wanna bore you with all this reading so bye guys and stay tuned tomorrow

Friday Nail Polish Search

Hey guys so I finally got some time from my fully packed life to head out and buy nail polish. That's right nail polish! It all happened Friday.

I usually go out and buy nail polish whenever I want. If I like it, I buy it. That's my rule. So I went out on Friday just to look around and ended up buying 5 nail polishes. No pictures yet but I promise to have them up.

Living down under means that Finding some great nail polish brands such as China Glaze, Opi or Essie are very hard. If we do come to access to it, they are usually $20 AUD. Pricey but what can we do. Before you think about the 5 nail polishes I bought and great brands, let me tell you one was from revlon and the others from Jordana.

Now your thinking why did I tell you about expensive nail polishes such as China Glaze. Well I told you because I've heard of a store for about a year but never went to because it's about a 40-45 minute drive. They sell china glaze and other brands for real cheap. China glaze I heard was $6. So I may go someday soon. Maybe even today. For those who want to go to it too. It's called pro nail supply in bankstown. Search it on google and you will find its website with the address.

I guess that's the end but I will put pictures of my nail polish haul I did on Friday.
